Submission Format Specifications

Detailed submission format guidelines for the English portion of the challenge are as follows:



Grades 1-2: 


As texts and images will be written/drawn by hand, students must submit a high-quality photo of their final work. The photo must be in .JPEG format and must be taken in a brightly lit room, free from obstructing objects or shadows. Ensure that the picture is in focus. Other formats will not be accepted and will result in failure to qualify for the challenge. 


Grades 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11: 


Final texts must be submitted as .PDF files. Other formats will not be accepted and will result in failure to qualify for the challenge.

Detailed submission format guidelines for the French portion of the challenge are as follows:


Grades 1-2:

Detailed submission format guidelines for the Science portion of the challenge are as follows:


Student candidates must submit MP4 files with a maximum file size of 50MB. Other formats will not be accepted and will result in failure to qualify for the challenge.


Grades 1,2,3,4,5,6 :


The duration of the video must be between 1 min 30 and 3 min, credits included.


Grades 7,8,9,10,11 :


The duration of the video must be 3 minutes maximum. The format can include any type of montage, image integration, and sound effects. 



《Art》


Detailed submission format guidelines for the art portion of the challenge are as follows:


Grades 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12:

Student candidates must submit PDF, JPG, or JPEG files in order to qualify for the competition.

Files must be high definition and the surface of the artwork must be evenly illuminated with fluorescent light. 

There should be no distortion of color, nor distortion as a result of a poor camera angle. The art piece must be evenly mounted on a surface (dog-eared or crumpled pages will not be accepted). No autograph nor date should appear on the final work of art. 


The file name should include the title of the artwork, the artistic medium, the student’s name and the student’s grade level (example: “evolution_oilpaint_mike_lee_grade6”)

The original size of the art work should be no smaller than 16 X 12 inch (40.5 X 30.5 cm)




《Music》


Detailed submission format guidelines for the music portion of the challenge are as follows:


Grades 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11:


The songs and instrumentals should be between 1:30 (one-minute-and-thirty-seconds) and 3:30 (three-minutes-and-thirty seconds) in order to qualify for the challenge. 


Files must be submitted in mp3 format in 128kb and 44.1khz in order to qualify

Songs with lyrics must be submitted as .pdf files in order to qualify
